During the many years I have been an independent agent with World travel, I have rented a space in the office and worked from a home office (both with a rent payment and 100% commissions kept). Now I am working as a commission split independent. I greatly value the agent community atmosphere and the respect and buying power of the World Travel name. WTI colleagues are always willing to share information and the in-office staff are invaluable in helping with technical things that come along. The Virtuoso Connection, along with the marketing options it presents are the cherry on top.

I have been associated with World Travel since 1995 and for me it was the best move for me to become an independent agent. I started out in the office, then moved to become a home based agent. In 2015 we moved from the NW to South Carolina, where I felt it was important for me to associate myself with a local agency. The agency was not a good fit for my needs and I knew that I had to return to World Travel where I could get the support that I needed. World offers me assistance with coverage when on vacation, after hours help (since clients think we work 24/7), Virtuoso association and will go to bat with vendors when there are issues. They don't just leave us out to dry. All of this for a ticketing fee that has not changed since I began with them. Then during the pandemic, World lowered our fees to help us through these hard times. I can only say good things about my experience and would highly recommend any professional agent to consider moving to World Travel.

I have been with this agency since 1989. I have been an independent contractor with them since 1995. They are wonderful to work with and you truly are your own agency. You pay one monthly fee (which has never increased over the years that I have worked here) and any additional monthly expenses (mine run at around $40 average per month plus any debit memos). This is an agency that has been open since 1961. If you have experience, with a good client base, the sky's the limit with this agency.
